I'm here to get help

Arrange a support session with Mark first, then follow these three steps.

1

Open the support app

Download HopToDesk for Windows from its official download page. Open the downloaded file; you can run it without installing it.

Get Windows support app ↗
2

Tell Mark your device ID

HopToDesk shows an ID on your screen. Read that number to Mark during your call. Keep the app open.

Your device ID identifies your computer; it is not a temporary support code.

3

Approve the connection

Check that you are speaking with Mark, then accept his connection request in HopToDesk. Choose click-to-approve in the app's security settings if needed. Only allow the permissions needed for your support session.

When you're finished, disconnect and quit HopToDesk. Leave unattended access off.

The support page is provided by Zaptide. Remote connections use the separate HopToDesk app and service. Downloads open the official provider's website; its privacy information applies to that service. This page does not collect your device ID, password or screen.

A few useful answers

Do I have to install anything?

The computer receiving help needs HopToDesk running. On Windows, you can open the downloaded app without installing it. On Mac and Android, follow the official installation instructions.

Can Mark help from his iPhone?

Yes. Mark can connect from the HopToDesk iPhone app or web console. He still needs your device ID and your permission to connect.

Can I get help with an iPhone?

This first support setup is for computers and supported Android devices. An iPhone can be used by Mark to control a computer; it cannot be remotely controlled through this setup.

How do I stop the support session?

Use Disconnect in HopToDesk, then quit the app. Closing this website or clearing the helper checklist does not end a remote connection. Do not enable unattended access for a one-off support session.
